In today’s post, I am sharing with you 30 Best Iftar Meals. As always, these are easy to make and are pantry friendly too. You can even make these ahead and re-heat them at the time of serving. These meals are not only best to serve in dinner, but you can even relish the leftovers in suhoor | sheri (early morning meal) too.
If it is just yourself or two to four people, or a larger group, planning meals is always helpful. Planning always saves time, money, food wastage and keeps you stress-free. When you already have an idea on what’s on the menu today, then concentrating on other chores is easy. As I always say, Ramadan is time for namaz (prayer) and ibadaat (worship). If you have a meal plan on mind or meal chart ready for the fasting days, then half of the work is done.
We do not have a particular choice for iftar meal. If we are having a heavy or deep-fried snacks at the iftar time, then I settle down with simple meals. For example, curd rice or millet khichdi or soup, etc.
I normally keep, iftar snacks simple. Dates, juice or rooh afza and fresh bowl of fruits or salad are most common items during iftar time. The recipes listed below are for your reference, just to give you an idea on what you can include in your Ramadan Iftar Meal Plan.
