Retrospect 2020 – The time of the year has come, where I sit back and pen down my years best, good and worst memories. I always end up with mixed feelings while making this post. This post will be like a diary page, where I note down a year progress of my blog with little ramblings of my personal life.
Year 2020
Year 2020 – took us all on roller coaster ride and I still feel we are hung high in air with no point to return to normal. It was no different from other years, 2020 has been a regular year for many of us. But by mid-March, things started to change. The world was hit by the worst ever known Pandemic, which made us realize many things. The year where we realized health is more important than wealth. Family is more important than anything else. Friends are biggest blessing. A year where we realized, “If we have food in our plate, clothes on our back, a roof over our head and a place to sleep we are richer and truly blessed”.
Alien words like quarantine, lockdown, sanitizer, isolation, social distancing, zoom parties, google classrooms, etc; became regular words. Online classes for students, WFH for employees, Digital consultation for patients, depending on digital platform for daily needs have become part of our lives. Of many things I learnt this year, being grateful, staying humble and preparing for the unexpected as the world is constantly changing are three important lessons.
My heart goes for the ones who fought bravely but scrummed to this deadly Covid-19 Virus. Prayers to the ones who are recovering. My salute to front-line workers and brave soldiers who are on constant battle to keep us safe. Sincere gratitude to the supreme divine power Allah SWT. Heartfelt thanks to my readers and followers for overwhelming generosity. I appreciate your time. Thank you for being there always.
