Rooh Afza – As mentioned above, this is a deep pink colored sweet concoction with a hint of rose flavour and herby aroma. Known for its healing and cooling properties. Easily available in any grocery store. Rooh afza bottle is available in online grocery stores too.
There is a lot of difference in taste, thickness and ingredients of rose syrup and rooh afza. So, do not get confused with rose syrup. Both rose syrup and rooh afza are completely different syrups.
Lemons – Lemon juice perfectly balances the sweet and herby rose taste of rooh afza. Apart from this lemon juice also adds citrusy taste and increases the nutritional value of this drink.
Sparkling Water – As we are making a fizzy drink here, we are using sparkling water (soda). This will make the drink look fancy. You can skip adding soda and can make normal rooh afza lemonade.
Apart from sparkling water, you can try adding sprite or 7-up or mountain dew, etc. But just remember, these drinks are loaded with sugar.
Other Ingredients
These are all optional ingredients. Add them depending on the availability. These ingredients add flavour, nutrition and appealing look.
