Today’s recipe Gavar ki Phalli aur Gosht ka Salan is my all-time favorite curry. When the vegetables are cooked in combo with meat, they absorb the juices of the meat and tastes very yum. My mom always adds vegetables to meat recipes and we love relishing the combo.
Mom trims the full sides of the gavar ki phalli before cutting them into pieces. I have posted the video on Instagram and you can check it here…As the sides turn bit hard upon cooking, trimming them will give soft cluster bean upon cooking. Try this version and you gonna love it….

One reason why I don’t buy cluster beans is the hard sides, I hate it… I love other beans though, the string ones and the french beans… This saalan looks so delicious… literally making me salivate… hehe…

Lubna: No doubt being your all-time favorite recipe, this dish interests me a lot. I do not use a pressure cooker. Would you mind spelling out the steps for a stove-top version?

Thank you so showing interest in cooking out this recipe. You can even make it without pressure cooker….Slow cook meat in a heavy bottom cooking vessel until tender and add cluster beans. Cook till done. Time is reduced when you use pressure cooker. The rest is same. Hope you enjoy making it…Good Day Dido…
