About These Sandwiches
Most days I end up making sandwiches for myself using leftover curries like paneer butter masala, kadai paneer, or paneer burji. They pair so well with hot tea or cold juice, depending on the mood. The best part — you don’t need to chop extra veggies or cook anything special. Just spread, grill, and enjoy.
Why You Will Love These Curried Paneer Sandwiches
- Made using leftover paneer curry
- Quick, flavorful and filling
- Perfect for travel, lunch box or evening snack
- Spicy, warm and comforting
- No fancy ingredients or cooking skills needed
This sandwich is proof that simple food can be deeply satisfying. The combination of creamy paneer, slightly smoky grilled bread and buttery aroma makes it irresistible. Serve them hot and crisp — that first bite is pure joy.

What Is Curried Paneer Grilled Sandwich?
This is a grilled sandwich made with spicy and creamy paneer curry as stuffing. If you have leftover paneer butter masala, paneer makhani or any semi-thick paneer gravy, just crush the paneer pieces lightly, mix with the curry, spread between two bread slices, and grill.
This is also a great no-waste recipe. Instead of reheating paneer curry again-and-again or eating it plain, you can transform it into a comforting café-style grilled sandwich.

Tips for the Best Grilled Paneer Sandwich
- Use slightly thick gravy so the bread doesn’t turn soggy.
- Butter the outer sides generously for crispness.
- Always grill on medium heat to avoid burning.
- Multigrain or whole wheat bread also works well.
- If the curry is cold, reheat just for a few seconds to bring out aroma.
Curried Paneer Grilled Sandwiches

I love sitting by the window, listening to the drizzle and watching the sky turn moody, while the house fills with the aroma of hot butter toasting on the pan. On such days, I don’t want anything elaborate — just something quick, spicy and soul-satisfying. And that’s where these curried paneer grilled sandwiches come in.
