{Ramadan Special} – Tandoori Fried Chicken – Guest Post for Lail of With a Spin
Allhumdulliah it is 10th day of fasting today in India…Good times go so fast…Ramadan is running out…reap the benefits of this Holy month before it is gone….Before my marriage it is me and my mom who use to fast every Ramadan….as my sis was very small at that time, she use to keep fast only on weekends or holidays….As it is we only
two…the menu use to be very simple….it is mostly roti in seher with any veg or non veg gravy along with few morsels of curd rice….In the evening for Iftaar my mom use to make quick snacks/salad along with lemonade or roohafza…and then we use to have our dinner which is mostly rice…sometimes flavoured rice like Til ke Chawal, Veg Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Qubooli, Jeera – Peas Pulao, Tahari, Kichidi etc…

Nothing much changed after marriage…as I moved to Bangalore with my husband, it is only we two who use to fast…As I was new to cooking full course meal three times a day and was still in a learning process to cook day to day recipes…I use to find little difficult to cook lengthy meals for Iftaar…Simple and filling recipes have always been on
top of chart to me….In the process I have created some protein rich recipes which are indulging and less time consuming….One recipe which has been still my favourite to cook during the Ramadan is Tandoori Fried Chicken with Egg Fried Rice.

When Lail of With a Spin has asked me to do a Ramadan guest post on her blog, with no other thought I decided on Tandoori Fried Chicken recipe….This is my favourite chicken recipe….if the chicken pieces are marinated overnight then the flavours are amazing….This recipe is less time consuming, filling and indulging….Head over to Lail’s With a Spin to read on the recipe for Tandoori Fried Chicken……
