Fried Mac’n’Cheese Balls
- 25g Butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. All purpose flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese
- Black pepper powder to taste
- 1/2 tsp. Onion powder
- 1 tsp. Mustard sauce
- 1/2 tsp. Cajun spice
- 1 cup Macaroni
- 1 Egg
- Panko bread crumbs or regular bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
How to make Fried Mac n Cheese Balls
PREPARATION:
- Cook the macaroni according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, in a pan heat butter. When it melts, add in the flour. Stir well and let it cook for a minute on low heat.
- Whisking constantly, pour in the milk. Increase heat to high, let it come to a boil. Reduce heat to low and let it get thick.

Now add in the both the cheese and mix till it melts.

Add in salt, pepper, onion powder, mustard, and cajun spice. Mix well.

Add the cooked macaroni to this. Mix well. Transfer this into a tray and freeze it for about an hour or more.

Season the bread crumbs with Italian seasoning.

Make small balls out of the macaroni and cheese. Dip it in egg, then seasoned breadcrumbs. Deep fry and serve immediately.
