Last Saturday Cavin’s has sent me samples to try out their four different flavours of milkshakes. Lil’M is very fond of milkshakes and I make them very often. Though I often make fresh milkshakes with available seasonal fruits, I find ready made milkshakes/juices quiet handy at times when I am travelling or to pack in lunch bag.
As lil’M spends long hours at school with two snack breaks and one lunch break, I often make it a point to add a pack of juice or milkshake. As the lil’M’s school has restricted on sending non-veg food in lunch box…I depend more on milkshakes these days to give her required supplement of protein. At times like this, a product from Cavin’s is a virtue to me.
Cavin’s is the umbrella brand for all dairy based offerings from CavinKare. Though I just got to try a little (in the name of review)….Lil’M and her papa happily gulped all the flavours of milkshakes. When I asked lil’M to pick her favourite among these milkshakes…she said she liked all…but Vanilla Milkshake is her favourite.
Though all four flavours were yum, Kaju Butterscotch was my personal favourite. I have never tried this combo before and my taste buds just loved the nutty and crunchy taste of this milkshake.
As the temperature is going little warm in the day in Chennai here…I lightly chilled the milkshakes before serving them over highly heated chess match between lil’M and her papa.
As half of my work on making snacks was reduced….I too enjoyed a leisurely sip by indulging me reading my favourite book over this long weekend. Thank you Cavin’s for sending me these refreshing and nutritious milkshakes.
I am sure I will be buying these more often as Lil’M asked me to pack a milkshake in her lunch box this morning. The only thing which troubles me in any ready made milkshakes is the amount of sugar, so mommies please make adjustments in the diet chart of your children based on this point.
You can find Vanilla, Strawberry, Coffee, Chocolate and Kaju Butterscotch flavours of Cavin’s Milkshakes in market for Rs.25 for 180 ml pack.

I’m not sure if these are available in the UK, but it’s a great idea to use them as snacks for lunch boxes. I’m sure my daughter would love them too!
Looks like a great alternative. Ma shaa Allah the flavours are nice too. Jazakallahu Khayr for sharing
Salam. Can you share the ingredients for the shake please?

It really helps to find a trustworthy brand of juice/milkshakes. As much as we d love to only give fresh, sometimes these become a necessity.
Kaju butterscotch sounds very cool and im surprised about the limited non veg rule..
