These bubbly girls demand something or other to nibble from time to time. So I thought of making sandwiches. To match up to different palates, I made three different open faced sandwiches. These are called ‘Elvis Sandwiches’ and I came across these in book ‘Picky Eater’.
When I googled to find why these sandwiches have got that name, I came to know the legendary Elvis Presley was very fond of grilled peanut butter and banana sandwiches. So the companies which made peanut butter or places which served grilled peanut butter banana sandwiches generally use to refer the particular sandwich with his name in the menu.
Along with this, I also made Grilled Mango Nutella Sandwich and Apple Cinnamon Open Faced Sandwich with sprinklers. I made a batch and served them over. Then I made another batch of these sandwiches and took quick pictures. That five minute silence when they were relishing on these sandwiches was so welcoming to quickly finish my shoot. Of three mango nutella sandwich is my favorite. Chocolaty Nutella makes this sandwich taste yummier.

Oh! I love peanut and banana sandwich but I didn’t know about Elvis. Had to laugh when reading the title of the post. Apple cinnamon also sounds promising. Mango Nutella is something I wouldn’t have in mind. But I love Mango and I am looking forward the season to start! Lovely also how you decorated the sandwiches for the little guests!
