{Ramadan Special} – Piyaju from Lail of With a Spin
When I announced Joy From Fasting To Feasting – VI, I really had no idea that this event will gain so much love and support from fellow food bloggers…who being busy with Ramadan took out time in sending across yum recipes along with their Ramadan memories. I am truly honored for this….My travel to unveil food, stories and Ramadan celebrations round the globe took me to Bangladesh, where beautiful new mom Lail of With a Spin is waiting for us…to spin her charm with her classy Iftaar recipe….Lail has also got a Ramadan Menu Recommendations page on her blog where she is sharing her day to day Seher and Iftaar recipes….Do drop by Lail’s With a Spin to know the true flavours of Bangladeshi food….
Ramadan has always been special to me. Growing up, everything about Ramadan was exciting – from the moon sighting to waking up early for suhur, from reciting the Quran to laying out the iftar table was something I always looked forward to. Ramadan values, discipline, self-control, sacrifice for the sake of Allah is something I deeply treasure and sincerely hope that one day I can instill and pass on the same teaching and mindsets to the next generation.
