InshaAllah in a day or two Ramadan will start in India. But in Saudi Arabia and some other countries, the moon has been sighted last night, marking today as first day of Ramadan. Huma of Gheza-e-Shirrin has come up with a awesome event on her blog by name ‘Ramadan – An event to share’. As a part of this event, I am sharing my home town much made and more loved recipe during Ramadan ‘Andhra Special Ganji’ along with glimpse of celebrations at my house.
In my previous post on ‘Oats ki Ganji‘, I mentioned about this ‘Andhra Special Ganji’. This is made exactly the same, but in this we add fine semolina and most of the times we use mutton stock or cooked minced lamb meat. One bowl of Ganji is enough to refuel your body after a day long fast.
Catch a glimpse of everyday iftar table, read about the recipe and celebrations at my home town in today’s post at Huma’s Gheze-e-Shiriin.
Thank you Huma for giving me the honor to start the event. Ramadan Kareem to all….
InshaAllah from tomorrow ‘Joy From Fasting To Feasting -IX’ will start….through this event we will travel the globe and read more about Ramadan all these 30 days….30 bloggers….30 countries….30 recipes….30 stories….isn’t it exciting….???
